When I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday, she made a plan to take everyone to an indoor play park for the grandkids to enjoy and then go shopping at the Boca mall. While at the mall, she proceeded to buy the boys new Lego sets and me some drinking glasses that won’t break in a house full of crazy boys. On a day meant for HER, she made it about everyone else. Which is the essence of who my mom is. 🥲 My mom is truly the most magical, kind, generous, fun, warm, beautiful, encouraging, bright, happiest person I know. I can’t believe that I get to be her daughter. She makes me want to be better every day. 🎈Happy Birthday🎈 to my angel mother!! You are my light and my inspiration! 🙌🏻 I pray I can shine half as bright as you! ✨✨✨

“If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” ~ Mother Teresa Always a quote I come back to <a href=in times of unrest in our world/country. I see stories of people pouring out hate and I wonder “Where are their parents? Who is watching over this person and keeping them accountable? Who is pursuing them with the love of Christ?” I don’t do this to judge or assume wrong of anyone, but never underestimate the powerful work God is using you to do in your home and in your church families each day. Small acts of faithfulness to restore one another gently when sin is present, to carry one another’s burdens, to bear with one another in love, to teach and train in godly wisdom and discernment, to show steadfast joy and faith in adversity, to model repentance, to pray without ceasing - it matters now. Even when the fruit seems few and far between. Don’t give up! Don’t shrink back in fear! God is at work. He loves a fully surrendered, dependent heart. ✨Steward well TODAY and trust God for tomorrow.✨ Praying for President Trump, his family, your families, this nation and this world that belongs to God. God has proven time and again that He will take what the enemy intended for evil and turn it for good. Be still and know He is not finished yet! This is my Father’s world: O let me ne’er forget That though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the Ruler yet. This is my Father’s world: Why should my heart be sad? The Lord is King: let the heavens ring! God reigns; let earth be glad!" width="256" height="320" />

❤️🤍💙HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!💙🤍❤️ Today was a favorite day for sure. I was moved to tears on more than one occasion because we are so blessed to live in this country. For all the noise, strife, and division I see on media about the state of our great nation, I found the contrast quite vast at our little city parade this morning. Lots of families happily lined the streets waiting to see the homemade floats and catch some of the tossed candy. Mamas chased little ones. Everyone was wearing patriotic attire. The older woman next to us in the red, white, and blue sequin cowboy hat (her name was Shirley) wanted to tell me all about how she broke her arm, her love for fun, and why she will never stop being a crossing guard at the local elementary school. Zion donated his retrieved candy to the little boy next to us whose daddy was a detective with the local police department. His family was so nice and Ryan talked with the dad for a little bit about his dedicated, sacrificial service. <a href=When we look up from our screens, we find that most people just want to do their jobs faithfully, come home to their families, eat good food, and share in positive experiences with their loved ones. I think there’s a lot of wonderful good still happening in our country and I feel really honored to be able to raise up 3 boys to send into the future to continue a healthy stewardship of the freedoms we enjoy in the good ole’ US of A. Ronald Reagan once said, “All great change in America begins at the dinner table.” We don’t lose heart because we know Who is on the throne. And that holy motivation calls us to steward today for His glory. He is using you and He is using me to be a part of great change as we humbly submit to His best. We steward love, joy, and repentance around our tables. We model the Gospel and what true freedom is in Christ. And we pray every day that God helps us to raise kiddos who indeed love Jesus and America too. Also the gorgeous mermaid in photos 6-7 is my niece and I am so proud of her. 😅 Happy 4th, friends! 🇺🇸🗽🦅🎉🎆" width="256" height="320" />

🎉🎉15!!🎉🎉 How do we have a 15 year old?! How is he this old?! How am I this old?! 😜 Big year for this guy. He is finally getting his own phone. Noah has proven himself to be disciplined, self-controlled, and wise. He is ready to steward this privilege responsibly as he heads into high school and a new chapter of life. We are so proud of him! I am so happy to be his mama. Every year gets better! 🎉🎂🎁🥳🎈😘 **Wish I could take credit for the whole of the cell phone agreement. But I was able to steward the internet wisely 🤓 and piece together something meaningful and personal for our boy based on the work of other God-fearing parents and what He has stirred in our own hearts for our family! Am also thinking it’s a fluid document that will need amending as we navigate this new season! Wisdom welcomed!!**

We surprised these two by showing up at their church services today. I wanted to hear them play the organ and piano so much. Growing up, I would spend my Saturdays at the church with them while they practiced for Sunday. My brothers and I would run around playing until it got late and then I would fall asleep in the pews listening to them practice. Hearing them play together is something that I will always treasure. 🥹 And not just because it taught me to be able to sleep through anything. 😆 While on vacation last week, I sat with one of the boys on the steps of our hotel and we talked about excellence. Why should we pursue excellence in our work, in our homes, in our hearts? Because it glorifies God. Excellence is reflective of His nature. My parents using their gifts and their heart to use their gifts excellently moves my spirit. Can you imagine the sounds of heaven? What we experience here is just a taste… Thank you, mom and dad, for showing us God’s glory in your work and in your heart to do well for Him. Colossians 3:17! 🎶🎼🎵🎹

For some, the beach is a place to relax and feel peaceful. For me, the beach can amp up my insecurities. I never know how to manage my hair at the beach, I struggle with not wearing any makeup, and I way overthink getting in the water. I asked a friend the other day if she ever feels this way and her response was so pure and convicting. She said, “I have just come to rely on God in everything.” 🔥 Psalm 62:1 says, “My soul finds rest in God alone.” Not in having control over my circumstances or looks or acceptance. So I focused on taking her advice. Instead of fussing about my hair, I praised Him for hats! Instead of worrying about all of the exposed vitiligo on my face, I thanked God for the beautiful sun that warmed it. Instead of being anxious about swimsuits, I chose to just do the thing and be with my boys. And they were so happy when I got in the water with them. ((But I did tell them not to get my hair wet.)) 🤪🙃 I know this is probably not hard for most of you and I feel super silly even sharing, but I am thankful God helped me this week to just relax, rest, and depend on Him for everything. Please remind me of this post next summer. Or in 5 minutes. 😆 ☀️

☀️Our favorite week of the year!☀️ Top memories ></p>
<p>> 🌊Ryan - Snorkeling and seeing fishies with the boys. 🏖️Noah - Playing chess with random people on the Broadwalk. 🐚Jethro - Going for a bike ride and riding underneath a canopy of trees. 🌴Zion - Being in the pool or the ocean 97% of the time. ☀️Me - Not worrying about a messy house every day! Actually putting on a swimsuit and getting in the water with the boys! Spending so much time outside and together! I’m truly sad to go, but we all miss our dog. 😆 See you in 2025, Hollywood! 🙌🏻
